flowers + design for events, brands + creative projects
Flowers can do more than look pretty
DOTTA creates contemporary floral designs for events, brands and other creative projects across London and beyond.
Prioritising bold colour, interesting texture and sculptural form, we translate ideas into flowers.
We love working with brands, PR teams, events professionals, stylists, venues and other suppliers, ensuring that the flowers work within the wider production.
what we do
Brand, product + collection activation
Floral design that responds to a brand's visual identity, campaign or creative concept. From launches, collabs and pop-ups to press and influencer events.
Influencer + content creator events
For influencer and press events, content creator gatherings and social-first brand activations designed for photo opportunities. When an event is being created with content in mind, we think about how the floral design will work both in real life and on the screen, considering how the flowers will frame the space and work alongside product displays.
tablescapes + entertaining
For intimate brunches and dinners, private parties and larger celebrations, we can create centrepieces, provide bud vases, full tablescapes, bar arrangements, entrance flowers or other floral designs to compliment the rest of the event.
custom gifting
Flower bars for guests to DIY, or ready made ‘grab and go’ bouquets with custom wrapping and/or labelling.
workshops + demonstrations
Flower arranging demos and workshops developed around your brand, event, or creative concept. Includes bespoke colour palettes and custom wrapping and/or labelling.
Photoshoots + editorials
Flowers designed for campaigns, content, shoots and creative productions, we know what photographs well. Think colour drenching, single varieties en masse, full set design or something more experimental.
beyond the flowers
DOTTA can also help with elements of the wider event styling. We can source vases and vessels, tableware, candles, draping, props and other decorative details to bring the overall look together

the process
Whether you know exactly what you want or just know that the room needs something, we’ll work with you to find the right approach for your event.
From the initial brief to the final stem in place, DOTTA can take care of as much - or as little - of the process as you need.
-
1. Brief
Tell us what you’re planning — what you want the flowers to do, where and when it’s happening and any other useful info.
-
2. Create
WE develop the floral direction around your brief, budget, aesthetic and the venue.
-
3. Book
Happy with the proposal? A 25% booking fee secures your date and we’re off.
-
4. Make
We source the good stuff, create the flowers and coordinate practicalities behind the scenes.
-
5. Install
We deliver and install at the venue, either ready made arrangements or styling in situ.
-
6. Wrap
Once the event is over, we can de-rig and deal with the collection of any unwanted flowers and hire items afterwards.
Let’s start the conversation
Interested in working together on an event? Tell us what you’re planning —we’d love to hear your ideas.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Absolutely. You don't need to arrive with a fully formed floral vision.
Whether you have a detailed creative direction, an existing mood board or simply the beginnings of an idea, we can work with you to develop the right approach.
We’ll look at the purpose of the event, the venue, the wider visual identity, the audience and the story you’re trying to tell, then find ways for the flowers to contribute to that.
-
Yes. If the visual direction is already established, we can work within it to develop the floral elements and make sure they feel cohesive with the rest of the event. Equally, if you want us to take the floral design from concept to install, we can do that too. Our involvement can be as hands on creatively as you need it to be.
-
Once we understand your brief, we'll put together a proposal based on your requirements, budget and creative direction. Depending on the project, this might include suggested stems, colour palette/(s), our recommendation for floral arrangements or installations and types of vases/vessels.
Initial proposals and basic mood boards are complimentary. For projects where the creative direction needs to evolve into a more in depth concept, such as very detailed mood boards, multiple rounds of development, extensive sourcing or site visits, a creative development fee may apply. We'll agree this with you upfront, so there are no surprises.
-
Most event projects start from around £500. The overall investment will depend on the scale, location and requirements of the event. Knowing your budget from the outset helps us shape the proposal around it. We’ll look at what you’re trying to achieve and focus the budget where it will have the most impact.
-
As early as you can is always helpful, particularly for larger productions, unusual flowers or bespoke installations - but we know events don't always work that way.
Brief landed yesterday? Event next week? Let's talk!
Where availability allows, we’re happy to accommodate short notice briefs. We’re used to working in the slightly chaotic world of events, where concepts evolve and deadlines get shorter.
-
Once you're happy with the proposal, a 25% deposit secures your booking. This is non-refundable and is deducted from your event’s final balance.
-
We take care of the planning, sourcing and production, keeping in contact along the way. We'll source the flowers, foliage and/or plants, as well as vessels and materials required, create the designs in the studio or on site, and coordinate the practical details behind the scenes.
If your brief changes or you'd like to add something along the way, that's absolutely fine. We'll let you know about any additional costs before carrying out the extra work wherever possible.
-
Flower availability can be unpredictable, particularly when we're working with seasonal, unusual or highly sought after varieties.
If a particular flower isn't available, we'll source an alternative that works with the colour, shape, texture and overall feel of the agreed design.
In other words, you don't need to worry about what's happening at the flower market at 4am - we've got it!
-
Fresh cut flowers are at the heart of what we do. Depending on the brief, we can work with dried and artificial flowers, plants and other botanical materials, as well as sourcing large indoor and outdoor potted plants. We'll recommend whatever materials make the most sense for the event and the vibe we're trying to achieve.
-
Yes. We can take care of logistics: from the studio to the venue and back again.
We'll deliver and install at the agreed time, styling and making the final adjustments at the venue, ensuring everything is looking its best before guests arrive.
Where vases/vessels were provided on a hired basis (i.e. not provided by or purchased by the client), we will return after the event to de-rig and collect.
For larger installations and more involved productions, we'll agree access, timings, installation and de-rig requirements in advance
-
The remaining balance will be invoiced after the event and is payable within 14 days, unless otherwise agreed.
-
Absolutely! The flowers are yours to enjoy after the event, so you’re very welcome to take them home or gift to guests. That said, there’s absolutely no obligation to. If you’d prefer, we can collect the flowers as part of the post event de-rig, along with our hired items. We’ll agree the arrangements with you in advance.
-
Events change - dates move, venues suddenly become unavailable and sometimes plans don't go ahead at all. If something changes, just let us know as soon as possible and we'll work through the options with you.
If your event is rescheduled and we're available on the new date, your 25% booking fee can be transferred to the new date. If the venue or other details change, we may need to revise the proposal to reflect any additional costs.
If we're unavailable on the new date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and our cancellation terms will apply. The 25% deposit is normally retained when a booking is cancelled, with the total amount payable dependant on the extent of work undertaken, costs incurred or committed at the time and how close the cancellation is to the event.
Full details are set out in our Event Floral Design Terms & Conditions.
-
Absolutely. We’re comfortable working as part of a wider production team and collaborating with event planners, agencies, venues, stylists, production teams and other suppliers. We can work to an established production schedule, coordinate directly with the relevant teams and adapt our involvement to fit the way your event is being managed.
